Kansas City is one of my favorite Altman movies, and maybe his most underappreciated, although I admit that much of its charm does depend on your ability to handle Jennifer Jason Leigh at her mid-nineties JJL-iest. (I for one love it/her, but I realize she’s not for everyone…)
