  • 17: a song I dislike from my favorite band.

    I love love love love love Belle and Sebastian, but I hate hate hate hate hate “Dear Catastrophe Waitress.” (The song, not the whole album.) The whole thing where the guy hits the lady with the Coke can and then there’s the “ha ha!” trumpet flourish drives me nuts, nuts, I tell you.

  • 18: a band I used to love but now don’t.

    I was really into Air [French band] for a good six or seven years, and then when I made my friend James an Intro To Air mix I realized very suddenly that I don’t enjoy their music nearly as much as I thought I did. Aside from a couple of songs, of course (“Playground Love,” “Kelly Watch The Stars”… The obvious ones, I guess.)
