Taylor Swift, “Story Of Us”
I just today had my moment of truth with this song. I still don’t like how it sounds like something The Matrix would have produced for Liz Phair and I also still don’t like the ending (or for that matter the introduction to the Next Chapter), but I get this song now and probably three months from now I’ll be triyng to unironically incorporate it into a DJ set and stuff. I’ve never been a Taylor hater (I own Fearless on CD, etc.) but this one song never really did it for me and if I’m going to be honest with myself and the world I can admit that now it kind of does do something for me.
